No my assertion is not absurd at all. This is part of what is actually occurring. And no, the reversal as you put it, is seen in a different light. An initial plea is also not done under oath as is a guilty plea.

Flynn under oath twice pleaded guilty, also stated facts that supported the crime charged and also stated that he was not coerced in anyway(i.e., his son) to make the guilty plea -—all under oath. Fact.

Yes, it is what is occurring, but those pleas are sometimes withdrawn, and I’m not aware of any of those have resulted in a perjury charge.

He did make the statement under oath that he was not coerced, but that’s part of making the deal, and in other cases when deals are in fact coerced it does not result in a perjury charge by the court.

It was indeed a severe uphill fight because of the pleading, but when the government withdrew with evidence of prosecutor misconduct that should have been over - the same as every other case with the same conditions.
