The NYT knows how ignorant the masses are and are trying to play them like a fiddle. It won’t work. The only people who care about Trump’s tax returns are the rabid extreme left. They already were not going to vote for him.
Let’s see how many people are swayed by this idiocy. Even though most people do not understand what goes into a billionaires’ tax returns, I can’t see how it will make a difference if their own paychecks are getting bigger because of him. Trump has paid more in taxes than most people will earn in their lifetime.
Interesting that in their entire piece they do not allege he committed any tax crimes or can prove any crimes or that would have been their headline.
This really doesn’t show anything we didn’t know about in 2016 he uses tax attorneys like rich people to use any and all laws to his benefit. Lots of businesses have losses that reduce taxes. It is the nature of business, especially real estate with depreciating assets.
