Speaking of regular, normal flu, I heard the numbers are way, way down.
The DNCMedia says it’s because of COVID restrictions. Maybe, but it is good news.
I think COVID killed a lot of people that would have gotten the flu and spread it, but then died. And a lot of people who may have died of the flu were listed as COVID deaths, and people sick with regular flu and didn’t get tested assumed it was COVID.
But still, good to see influenza numbers cave.

All seems correct, so at the end of 2020, total deaths from COVID / FLU / PNEUMONIA will prove to approximate 2019, which will be our proof in the pudding.
Great post bud,
Truth be know there is no telling how many people had the regular flu and were listed as covid just to bump the stats up.IMHO, H1N1 is far more deadly than covid,it kills more and is a bigger worry yet not enough to close down the economy. This closure has all be political little else.
Note that even when the CDC changed the death toll form near 200k to near 10K the drivebys continues using the old numbers just to keep the issue of covid alive. This all they have besides starting fires and killing cops while raising hell in the cities.
The work to understand COVIS has been pathetic.
Public Health has no clue and no plan
What if COVID turns out to be some sort of catalyst for colds and flus, intensifying the impact?????
Well, a lot of people died, which ALWAYS happens, every day/week/year, from "something". According to the back-walking, revised CDC reports, the number of "deaths from CV" have been stated to be a mere fraction (around 6%) of the total "deaths WITH COVID"....(around 10,000)....and the Bat-flu having a very high survivability rate for all categories....OVER 99%.
But still, good to see influenza numbers cave.
As one who is susceptible to Bronchitis, and every cold turns into 6 weeks of hard coughing...I didn't get as much as the sniffles. This is very likely due to some of the preventative measures in place....namely; the socialist distancing and frequent hand washing. That part (as a suggested public policy) seems to be valid for every future flu season.
The filthy and annoying control freak/training burka/political masks.....not so much.
I think COVID killed a lot of people that would have gotten the flu and spread it, but then died.

Appears to be true, based on data. We’ll likely have a “light” flue season this year because the elderly that would have died with ‘regular’ flue were taken out by COVID.

He’s an engineer & he likes data/numbers. He’s also got videos with info showing how Vit D levels impact the seriousness/or not of a COVID case Also, if you are metabolically unhealthy, your ability to weather a case of COVID decreases. There is a lot people can do, at home, to quickly improve metabolic health, but of course, you won’t hear that from the government, big pharma, even traditionally trained medical personnel.
