Company fired workers this summer for comments about the Black Lives Matter movement in internal meetings
Cisco Systems Inc., which fired some employees over the summer for comments about racism and Black Lives Matter during virtual staff meetings, unveiled a social-justice platform that delves deeper into those issues on Wednesday.
The Silicon Valley networking giant said its commitment — which includes giving all employees a day off to vote — is a first step to “expanding opportunities and support for Black communities.”
“We’re hoping these actions serve as a combination of inspiration and action,” Fran Katsoudas, executive vice president and chief people officer of Cisco, said in an interview Tuesday.
Cisco CSCO, +1.58% vowed to increase the representation of Black people among its employees companywide by 2023, specifically by boosting those numbers 25% at the employee-through-manager level and by 75% at the levels of director, vice president and higher. According to its 2019 diversity report, 3.8% of the company’s overall U.S. workforce was Black, and those numbers were even lower at the leadership/manager and VP levels, at 2.2% and 1.8%, respectively. There are no Black people at the executive level.
The San Jose, Calif.–based company further said it will focus on increasing diversity among its directors. Its board is composed of three women and seven men. There are no Black directors on the board. One of the men, Arun Sarin, is Indian American, and one of the women, Lisa Su, is Taiwanese American.

At this point its frankly too late. Practically every major corporation has jumped on the SJW bandwagon and its impossible to boycott them all without living like the Amish or something. Its really nobody’s fault except conservatives who sat around with their thumb up their butts as the leftists took over every institution in society. Maybe we’re due for another dark age and theres nothing to do except wait for the craze to burn out. Could be a generation could be 10 generations.

For Corporate America maybe but I think the ball got rolling back with FDR and you could maybe trace the origins back to the 1800s and the French Revolution. The Right just seems to tend toward a reactive strategy which is no way to fight a modern war. Even as they subsume philosophies that used to be on the Left such as classical liberalism.

So true. I think if they don’t display a bit of thug behavior and can read and write they are definitely set for life. Between businesses, politics, education, blacks will be in 75 percent of the positions.
