It doesn’t matter that Trump’s policies are pretty much the same as JFK’s, and the Left’s hate of him has nothing to do with him personally.

Rather, there’s been a trend whereby every Republican / conservative President since at least Nixon has been a focus of increasingly organized and insane Leftist hate. It really focused itself, and became systemically obvious with Reagan. Remember Bush derangement syndrome? Trump of course pushes back, which inflames them even further.

Since its been a political tool and seems to be some kind of historical process, how much higher can leftist derangement go? Are we at some kind of end game?

I was a child during Eisenhower's term and just turned 14 when Kennedy was inauguratedso I don't remember all that much but it seemed pretty calm.

End Game. Probably yes. That a major segment of the population can come to believe that a coup or revolution is appropriate to ensconce their side in power is an indication that the Republic is, indeed, coming apart finally. Had the government not expanded farther than it was at some point before FDR, coups and revolutions would not be worth the effort.
