WTH are they talking about? Don’t the U.S. Virgin Islands have the same non-voting rep that Puerto Rico does? Doesn’t American Samoa, Wake Island, etc. have the same non-voting rep that Guam does?
It would seem the two general areas would be better off as states — not that I’m supporting the notion — rather than having these 5 itty, bitty states.
The problem is doesn’t Puerto Rico get to decide? They have voted down being a state many times in my memory. The reason being they have all the benefits without the taxes. Federal taxes they would be subjected to I’m not a tractive

California has been talking about going as far back as when Mexico ruled the place. Cut it east and west. West Coastal is Democrat Blue, East inland in GOP Red. If CW II comes California will be at war with itself. But the Coasties will get help from China.

If that happens, that would be the strongest reason for breaking up the country (which needs to happen in time, anyway).
They would have to increase the amount of congressmen in congress lest they dilute Democratic power in current blue states that have falling populations as compared to states that have more conservatives with large populations. Keeping the congressional numbers at 438 when adding extra states may backfire on Dems in terms of trying to keep congressional control. Reapportioning numbers will be a chore!

# 1, the Dems will not win the Senate and 2, Trump will win.
We pick up the US Senate seat in Alabama and possibly Michigan. That means the Dems need to pick up six seats to take control in the Senate. Not gonna happen with Trump at the top of the ticket, doing great rallies every day and Dementia Joe stuck in his basement.

The Democrats may think they are tough and fancy themselves as Stalin's successors. They are not even close. And America is not Russia in 1917. And Trump is not Tsar Nicholas II. Trump is much tougher.
