The denial of the stay was by the same judge who issued the stay, so expect an appeal by Wolf.
I’m against judges running our health systems.
As our Founders decided it is better to have ab elected Executive run things.
However, the ruling by this judge is very limited. It allows for emergency action- which an Executive needs whether the people have elected someone wise or not.
Orders that go on and on and on are not “emergency” orders and are subject to usual Constitutional limits.
They already fought Wolf’s expansion of emergency status....BUT they then passed a bill that no Governor in the future can extend a state of emergency past 30 days without approval.. Wolf abused the state of emergency to sustain his power and stronghold on PA,that gives a Governor extended powers during that time.
Wolf can never do this again!
