Lockdowns Never Again: Sweden Was Right, and We Were Wrong
Well I’m in Pa and our area was basically flatlined throughout this crisis compared to other states and the eastern border....we had the Hospital and other medical areas laying off workers and even those that remained were idle much of the time.....we should have never closed down!
Sweden’s economy dropped 8% in Q2 just like ours. People isolated themselves regardless of government policy. Also Sweden’s deaths are the in same ballpark as the US, UK, Italy and Mexico. The only real difference is they had a bigger first wave and our curve flattening worked but is keeping the deaths going longer.
