Well, I would guess that RBG was not SUPPOSED to die. Had she retired in say, 2015, Barark Obama had every opportunity then to replace her on the court, she would have had five years to live out her last days in New Zealand, and there would not have been a ripple on the pond.
Bad timing there, RBG.
You see that is the IRONY. IF RBG had retired during Obama’s first term as POTUS, Obama would have nominated a Liberal to replace her and Schumer would have pushed it through the Senator. We could not have done SHEITE about it.
Instead RBG decided to stay on the court. So, her hubris is the cause of this strife for all the liberals.
So, Thanks RBG. You really screwed all your supporters.
