Senator Ron Johnson has requested information from the attorneys of Hunter Biden and Devon Archer after a bombshell Congressional report on Wednesday revealed that the duo had received millions in cash transfers from foreign nationals.
A years-long investigation by the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs and Senate Finance Committees revealed on Wednesday that, among other arrangements that raised red flags among government officials, Biden had received a $3.5 million wire transfer from a Moscow politician's wife and Archer had received over $140,000 from a Kazakhstan businessman.
Johnson, the chairman of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, told Just the News Editor-in-Chief John Solomon on Wednesday that Senate officials had reached out to attorneys representing the pair for further information regarding the revelations in the Senate report.
"We have sent an email to both Devon Archer and Hunter Biden's attorneys requesting information," Johnson said on the podcast John Solomon Reports.
The senator said that officials have also extended the two men "an opportunity to come in for a transcribed interview."
"From my standpoint, I think it's important for us to gather this information, you know, validate it, publish it," Johnson continued.

It would not surprise me if Xi were worth tens of billions today. Not because he’s necessarily particularly greedy, but all hierarchies need to reward people at every level to temper their ambitions. In absolutist tyrannies, this is even more important, as disgruntled subordinates can have you killed, as happened to Oda Nobunaga when he slighted Akechi Mitsuhide.

Devin Archer was Hunter’s partner but backed out very early on when he realized what a scam it was and wanted no part of it, iirc.

Oh how nice. Ron Johnson sent an email and also extended an invite to come and give a transcribed statement. Year long investigation. Wow- if this had been a Republican doing this it would have been 1 month investigation, homes raided, with media given advance notice, etc.

Why hasn’t BARR /DOJ issuing warrants, investigation, raids into Archer and Hunter’s homes?

That’s true - these congressional investigations have no teeth - they never had.
A real indictment would have to come via the FBI and the DOJ, and there is obviously something very wrong there - a power struggle which the deep state is still winning - even four years into Trump‘s Presidency.
The balance of power will dramatically shift - one way or the other - on November 4th - when the President’s ability to get re-elected is no longer at issue.
I believe that since the time of Watergate, the American public has been brainwashed and pre-conditioned to view any attack against the deep state Left by a Republican administration as Right Wing Tyranny.
Even the most righteous attack - well deserved indictments, long deserved firings, much needed criminal investigations and prison time - - all can EASILY be twisted by the Left to appear as a Nixonian purge - an “enemies list” - a Saturday Night Massacre - worse-than-Watergate.
Sadly, with the fake news monopoly and deep state counter intelligence bureaucracies all dedicated toward the goal of pushing that narrative - these disinformation campaigns really work. The American people absolutely do get fooled.
If President Trump’s DOJ had thrown every Obama co-conspirator in jail who deserved to be thrown in jail - he would absolutely have been booted out of office by an angry electorate, brainwashed into believing he was a bloodthirsty right wing tyrant.
AFTER the election, hopefully we will see what this man is made of.
