The shortages started in March when those who were NOT prepared went crazy with their panic buying because they realized they weren’t ready for a lockdown = preppers
Um, no.
They were not preppers.
Preppers were already prepared.
They were the ones who pooh-poohed preppers and prepping. they had the normalacy bias that told them that everything would always be the same and they didn’t have to worry about it or be ready.
It looks like you have no clue what a prepper is because preppers are not unprepared panic buyers, that’s for sure.
I watched the panic buying in March. Shelves were stripped of beef, frozen chicken, bread, soup, toilet paper and paper towels (of course), hand sanitizer (still often in short supply - the bigger bottles, when they rarely show up, are now about 40% higher in cost).
