I stopped watching TV 25 years ago.
My life immediately started getting better.
I quit watching TV long ago too, except my wife had to have the constant noise. She died in 2018, first thing I did (with difficulty) was to cut off my Direct TV. That took a while to accomplish, they make it next to impossible to cut the string.
My life is much better since then. I remarried 5 months ago and this wife does not watch TV either. We do talk about the news from various sources, she has been a huge blessing for this old man. smile.
