BOSTON (AP) Theres the windup, the pitch and the vote.
Election officials in Boston are expected to approve Fenway Park as an early voting venue when they meet Thursday, after Red Sox owner John Henry offered the storied ballpark for voters hesitant to cast ballots indoors.
City officials toured the park and have said it meets their guidelines. If formally cleared as a venue, Bostonians could vote at Fenway on Oct. 17 and 18.

Right-and line up all the ‘athletes’ wearing their BLM gear -just to drive the point.
So people cannot have the normal polling places on Election Day November 3 because it is SO dangerous. But people CAN go to Fenway to vote on October 17 and 18.
We need to get rid of the term “Election Day.” We can change it to “Election Season.” It makes perfect sense to vote over a period of months because the campaigns run for YEARS.
In fact, let’s take this to the logical conclusion — you should be able to vote at ANY TIME during the four years between the Election Days. Just collect the votes over a four year period.
No fans at an actual ballgame. But cram 50,000 in there to vote, perhaps illegally. Sounds about right.
Can we all remember Mitt Romney was elected as their popular governor and started an early version of Obamacare there? And the state has the nickname of The People's Socialist Republic of Massachusetts?
Last and least, my Socialist sister lives there. She said she cried for two days after Hillary lost because "now I won't live to see a woman president."
A freaky state.
This is Massachusetts. We all know what the results will be for Boston. No need for this pesky voting.
Of course the team is owned by big lib John Henry who also owns the Boston Globe.
In 2004 when the team was on its way
to its first World Series title in 86
years, he and other team bigwigs campaigned for Kerry (who appeared on
an ESPN Sunday Night baseball game at
Fenway, around the time of the DNC
in Boston.
Star pitcher Curt Schilling said “everybody go out and vote, and vote
Bush”, however. 4 years later he said
the candidates who intrigued him most
were the two who eventually faced
each other—Obama and McCain.
This super early voting is crap
I do not like it 2 weeks before but, having worked elections in Colorado, I am satisfied Jefferson County is secure from voting fraud though the state does not have photo ID.
If they want to vote this early why not save a bunch of time and money and reuse all the votes from 2016 election.
Ha! Every ploy the Liberals suggest is SO transparently ‘fraud-friendly’ and an open invitation to steal votes, that I get sick just listening to them.
