The thing is the people who will vote against Collins, are going to vote against her regardless of how she votes on this.
If she were a “yes”, she’d motivate more Republicans to vote for her.

Maine? I'm not so sure.Collins probably isn't sure either. She has a month to gather polling data and could easily switch by saying she was overwhelmed by the hearings , meeting her and her deep study of the nominees opinions etc. etc.
