sure you can. You just ask for a ruling from the parliamentarian (who represents the majority) lol and you over rule, or change whatever you wish.
It’s called playing hard ball.
The majority can actually do whatever it wants including removing ALL democrats from ALL committees completely.
All rules in the Senate are based on tradition not law, just like the filibuster.
Time for hard ball.
That would look a little silly and defeat the purpose of having a set of rules.
