That's a very kind thing to say.
He was the most challenging of our four to raise, but has turned out to be a delightful young man. He had a brain tumor (not malignant) at 11 and ended up having four brain surgeries in 3.5 years. Two of those were to remove parts of his brain as he was having seizures that couldn't be controlled with meds. By God's grace and the hands of two fabulous surgeons, he is completely healthy. No seizures, no meds, and a totally healthy (and intelligent) brain. I am sure that going through that matured him in unique ways.
He has interned in DC for our US rep, is an aide now for our state senator, and has become friends with Vernon Jones (who spoke at the RNC). It's fun to see the opportunities he is getting!
