Just FYI and to be fair, PAR35’s been around Dallas for a while and like most people he/she doesn’t always check to see if a business is still there if it’s been a long time since they went by.
The one in FB went poof back around 2005, if I recall correctly - might have been a couple years later. The franchisee who was running the place kept the menu and called it Bob’s Steaks, which was there by 2009.
I was not a fan of either; grew up in LA, and right around 2000 the chain started tanking. It became the province of senior specials (few to no customers under 65) and the end could then be forseen.
Didn’t they go under once before?
Where in CA can you find more ‘authentic’ Mexican food, than in TEXAS??

Did you see the tone of his response to me? Telling me to take my trash or garbage, whatever term he used to DU? Then implying he was the google expert, to I guess, uncover some kind of deception on my part?
I don’t care that he was so wrong and with his tone and accusations has such egg on his hiding face. And he’s not going to apologize because bullies never apologize. Maybe he learned is lesson but probably didn’t. Next time maybe he’ll be a little kinder if he feels the need to correct someone. And not such a huge A hole.
There were a few Aholes in this thread that I don’t really understand. Bizarre to me. There are lots of A holes here. Snarky, rude, short, .......wise guys. I am never like that because I don’t want to be like that. But when pushed.I can be. You seem like a nice person and I appreciate it.

I think they did kind of. I know they closed lots of locations but then kinda came out with a new model, smaller locations, smaller menu, but that same great salad bar.
To be fair, I can be one of the more snarky and sarcastic types around here. :P
I must disagree with the ‘great’ part of that description. :P
