...for crimes committed during protests.

Governor Ron DeSantis announced a new bill Monday that would increase charges for those who participate in a violent or disorderly assembly.

DeSantis made the announcement at the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. The bill is called the “Combating Violence, Disorder and Looting and Law Enforcement Protection Act."

A violent or disorderly assembly would be defined as when seven ore more people are involved in an assembly that causes damage to property or injury to people.

No bail for those who participate in violence and destruction of property, is being done in some states. Hold these frauds, BLM, antifa and others responsible for their actions and remember the elected in your state who encouraged the chaos. This is a Democratic and Progressive problem...make them pay at the polls this November.

How about recognizing them for what they are — riots.

Probaly there’s already law against those.

Florida needs to have a special session of its legislature if such things are legal. One of my favorite parts of this proposal is the following

Anyone who obstructs a roadway during a unpermitted protest or violent/disorderly assembly will face a 3rd Degree Felony.

I’m really becoming a DeSantis fan. I think he’s going to be a strong contender for 2024. I’m open to it if Pence wants to run and I’m curious what he’d have to say, but DeSantis is looking strong.

DeSantis also got rid of that woman in Broward county that was cheating on the vote counting the first week he was governor. I like this bill. Makes it illegal to disturb people in restaurants.

There is enough laws on the books to arrest anybody for anything. Enough with new laws, they will not enforce current ones.

I like this bill. Makes it illegal to disturb people in restaurants.

If it gets quashed by a leftist judge a day later, just say "Enforcement of no solicitation in restaurants will include bludgeoning with nightsticks, tear gassing and beatings to be certain there is full compliance."

Legal precedent: "Unnecessary violence in the apprehension of the Blues Brothers has been approved."
