I don’t think Utah will happy with Romney voting against the nominee.
I don’t think Romney is in the Senate to be reelected. He ran to accomplish one task—help his handlers get rid of Donald Trump. If he can be the difference in defeating a justice who would help Trump in election-related litigation, then he will do it. If his vote doesn’t matter, then he will vote to confirm.
Romney will vote yes.
He wants a political future, and is likely to run for president again.
Methinks Romney has to vote to confirm else all of the Mormons will kick him out over not fighting abortion...
