That was my thought, however, the House would have to bring the articles/vote on it first before it can go to the Senate.
And the Senate can vote it down in an hour.

That was all explored and discussed the last time. The Senate can take up the impeachment bill, mull it around for a few hours, and dismiss it. The House cannot command the Senate.

The Senate would vote on the day that happened to confirm, even before any Senator got a chance to ax ACB a single question.
