Little sister works triage at a local teaching hospital & explanation is basically the same as yours now if we could get the dimwits in DC to get on message & stay the fuck on message it would be useful!

In our area the number of confirmed cases was very very low. And those hospitalized at one time were like 12. they never used all the special accommodations. In fact hospital staff was let go because of all the ‘other’ medical needs were put on hold or delayed so the other areas in the hospital weren't being used.

For me I got a wake up call when shopping and a woman I was next to sneezed & coughed without covering her face at all. Believe me her spittle was flying and visible....and she kept right on talking......that's when I began wearing a mask because I was really uncomfortable when that happened. Even under normal circumstances that would have been concerning.

I don't blame DC about the confusion....from the get go they were consistent about the fact they didn't know about how serious this was nor about it enough. It was new and behaved differently then other viruses.....had the Demorats and media not politicalized this by their shenanigans we'd all been better off!
