No, only retired or sitting Senators are fast tracked per Senatorial customs/courtesies/Parliamentary procedures. They could call a Jud. Comm. hearing though but don't have to.

Anyone else must go through the vetting process again, which takes a lot of time and patience.

Well I should not used the term “fast track” as it is a specific process. I just meant Mitch could say she has already gone through confirmation and call a vote.
