Well, Collins is an idiot if she thinks the left hates her because she’s too cozy with President Trump (as the ads suggest - “Trump’s puppet”.
The left does not hate Susan Collins. What they hate is the “R” on her chair. They want it to be a “D”.
Now that she’s alienated a huge part of her base, the only way she can win now is to convince the democrats that it’s not necessarily important for democrats to strive to become the majority in the Senate.
