Justice Ginsberg's duties have been fulfilled by her clerks or someone other than herself which is why the Supreme Court Justices should be made to retire once they are no longer mentally or physically able, these people are not Kings or Queens. ...by filling the empty chair with a qualified person doesn't mean he/she will lean left or right a la John Roberts...a person who will follow the U.S. Constitution and those laws is what is needed and demanded apparently swearing to do so is not enough.
Maybe they could make a deal—McConnell will delay a vote on confirming the new justice if Stephen Breyer (now the oldest member of the Court) will retire effective immediately. That would give the Court an odd number.
