We should know by now that trying to appease leftists makes them more ambitious.
The left has spent their capital on the virus and anarchy this year. The news is constantly hyperbolic and most of the nation is fatigued by it and pays them less attention now than they did just a few years ago.
All their predictions and projections when Trump was elected have fallen flat. Trump has real results that made real improvements for the nation. They have dire predictions and hysteria. They ignore the results that disprove their predictions and simply move on to some newly manufactured outrage. They are the “boy who cried wolf.”
All of which is a euphemism for the real situation, viz. give a liberal a hand of friendship, and he wants to put it into the wood chipper, along with the rest of the body.
