I think they should just delete its relationship to the confederate general and to Bragg’s first name but keep calling it just Fort Bragg. How many, if any, people care about this civil war general anyway?
The naming of bases with Confederate general’s names was an act of magnanimity, respect to a foe, and an olive branch in the name of healing.
