I would say that if it is Obama’s wish that selection of a replacement for Ruth Ginsburg be done AFTER the election, then the opposite path would be the best way to go. It would be pretty hard to go wrong following that general rule of thumb.

Concerning Obama’s statement about who & when a replacement for Ruth Ginsburg should be selected.....what gives him a right to demand anything? In saying that the new president- elect should make the selection, I take that to mean that he is thinking the new DEMOCRAT president.
