Perhaps. But if you are actually handed a strong chance to be on the Supreme Court and have to weigh it against a dicey chance to be president....I think he takes the gig.

I doubt that very seriously ... democrats will demand why he funded iCarly 500 thousand in campaign 2016 ... or about ‘Oh, Mandy’ of CNN ... Teddy is NOT going to want to answer the questions .. like from Larry Tribe of Harvard, who said that Ted spent his time at Harvard claiming he was for the ‘original intent’ of the Constitution ... given what the Founding Fathers ‘meant’ by ‘natural born’ US citizenship.. nope Ted Cruz is NOT going to put himself in that predicament ...

I may be wrong, but I don’t think there are recess appt’s by the President; the Court remains one person short until a new judge is chosen. So the Supreme Court will be down one liberal judge, and I believe they still decide cases even if one judge is missing. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

I suppose the SCOTUS could delay making decisions until they have a full bench again, and most cases that are taken now unless an emergency case (like an election law case) won’t be decided until next June. It’s the emergency petitions to the Court regarding the election that would have to be decided by the Court minus one liberal judge (unless they prop Ginsburg up on the bench like Weekend at Bernie’s.

Trump already knows, and plans are being made in the background this very minute. The ball is rolling. Get out your popcorn. You won’t be hearing much now about the coronavirus. It’s going to be all SCOTUS all the time now, lol. Sleepy Joe Biden must be in a total tither, as he has built his campaign mostly around Trump and the virus. No more. SCOTUS has pushed the virus right off of the public stage. Fun times ahead.
