During a town hall on CNN on Thursday, 2020 Democratic presidential nominee former Vice President Joe Biden stated that he would have the authority as president to have a mask mandate on federal property and land and he will institute one, which could come with a fine for noncompliance. Biden also stated that he would prefer to see state governors have mask mandates, and would encourage them to have state mask mandates, but he can’t do one nationally. Biden said, “I cannot mandate people wearing masks. … I would call every governor in the country into the White House, say, you should be putting mandates out. And if they don’t, I’d call the mayors in their towns, in their cities and say, put out mandates.”

Notice how the left is not preparing for “After Covid-19”? They are assuming that it stays with us for a long time, and that is their wish.
It’s a tactic to keep Covid-19 the primary issue in the election. They want Americans to believe that it’s just as bad now as it was in March if not worse, (and it’s all Trump;s fault).
They are struggling to keep the issue number one because Safety & security in the streets (Law & Order) is likely the number one issue among the American voters with Covid a distant second.
Nancy Pelosi’s lack of urgency on a coronavirus stimulus deal signals to the American People that Covid-19 is no longer the serious threat that it had been to the population back in March.

Will be interesting to see all the troops having to wear masks will base or in the training areas. Hell, the sycophantic base commanders will have them in their gas masks for ultimate protection.

ADMITS that the president can NOT institute a national lock-down / mask requirement / etc?
ADMITS that it the the STATES that must act and are therefore responsible for the results?
ADMITS that the Federal Government can “encourage” compliance, but not enforce it?

So if I am walking alone in a National Park, with no one else around for miles will I be fined for not wearing a mask?

I’m pretty sure this is a loosing proposition for the Democrats... Most people don’t want mask mandates. Period!

I have some African DNA, which meant that those ancestors were slaves. Any documentation shows that they and their descendants were Free Slaves by the 1700’s.

For all those out there who loved the banning of public smoking, let’s remember how it started. First, they banned smoking on any federal property or institution, then they banned smoking on city streets, local government land, then they banned smoking on state land and buildings. THEN THEY BANNED SMOKING IN PRIVATELY OWNED BUSINESSES.
