“Shouldnt forest management be a part of Climate Change management?”
As a landowner who borders Jefferson National on 2 sides, I can tell you they will not manage the forests. They are “sacred”. There are SO MANY downed trees/dead and dry wood that it’s an inferno waiting to happen all around me. 15K plus acres around me actually for this specific section of that national forest. You cannot even pick a mushroom legally in national forest. It’s “not allowed”. So I find it impossible to believe they liberal globalist will allow it in the future.
OH, and like duh I failed to mention...we aren’t allowed to pick up or cut those downed trees for fire wood. Have to leave it there to rot. What’s the reasoning for this? I have no clue.
