I hear these liberal Democrat states are crafting a plan that for anyone wealthy (whatever that is defined as) that lived there recently, there will be an automatic WEALTH TAX on 5% of their net worth and a subsequent 1% assessed on them annually for a total of 10 yrs, regardless of whether they live in any other state.

Good luck trying to enforce that!

Btw, Democrats are very good at cooking the books and avoiding paying taxes etc.

When the matriarch of the Kennedy clan was dying and on her last days, they quickly had her relocated to Florida, under the guise of Health concerns; and then all her financial estates with her.

She had lived all her life in Massachusetts her entire life, but since there is a huge DEATH TAXES there, the family faced upwards of 30% taxes on her estate, therefore they conspired to move the estate to Florida where they didnt have those taxes.
