I have no idea what this recall election is about and I don't care. I only posted this to give an idea of how DEMS and REPS plan to vote (whether vote-by-mail, early voting or election day). Go to the county website and you can follow the real-time tracking of how people are voting. You can toggle to "Party and Type" and it shows you what method each party's voters choose. Also saw this with the August primary in Florida. Might not be the most interesting thing but it just gives you a bit of an idea of how exactly people plan to vote.
Just voted in the recall this morning to recall 3 city council members. The recall stems from three of them getting together (in violation of sunshine laws) and voting one of them in for mayor. They then lied to the state’s attorney and were arrested and charged.
City elections are unaffiliated, no party recognition. All the regular polling places were open as they will be on election day.
I’m a bit of a data hog so I love this kind of thing. Thanks. It’s pretty interesting.
A very quick look at it shows that democrats will be hurt by lost or missing mail. -—Unless, of course, they create the mail on an as needed basis.
Vulnerable/Mail in:
Republican: 65%
Democrat: 86%
Undecided: 74%
I am extremely disappointed in the 65% who mailed it in... Make it secure folks.
