With the November election looming just two months ahead, Congress is racing to push forward major legislation.

While the Senate reconvened last week, the House reconvened for the first time since their month-long August recess on Monday. This is the last work period left before the election with just 12 working days scheduled.

Congre$$ at its finest. Spend most the year talking or being on recess and in the last month of the fiscal year, pass a bunch of legisiastion that will have a lot of pork and special interests in them. The only thing most of these politicians are really good at is asking for $$$$.

Is it legally possible to order both the House and Senate to remain in session until all bills up for vote are voted on?

Let’s see how much imaginary money these phuckers can spend in 12 days. I’m betting on no less than $2 trillion. Oh, and BOTH parties are as guilty as sin about this - but at least the Dems are honest in showing how stupid, venal and short-sighted they are; Republicans know better, but do it anyway. I don’t know which is worse.

It is a wonder that anyone outside of this country accepts our currency. Hell, pretty soon people are going to start drawing up contracts for X ounces of gold and/or silver, rather than in dollars.

“Democrats and Republicans have agreed not to include any controversial aspects in the legislation to avoid a stalemate and ensuing shutdown.”

To a democrat, any taxpayer money NOT taken, and then applied toward total subjugation of American society, and to support global socialist totalitarianism, is nothing but controversial !
