Or Who he is messing with; He takes it sort of personal when the powers and people that be monkey with His people.

There are several places in scripture where He says in so many words, “you mess with My people, you mess with Me and I tend to take that very personally.”

denies the necessity of Christ blood shed on the cross

I really don't know how you got this claim from the video that you yourself posted. You have certainly drawn the wrong conclusion from what he said.

He is pointing out that it is the death of Christ that is the basis of redemption ... not merely the bodily bleeding of Christ.

What you have done here would be like me saying ...

"RaceBannon believes that Jesus didn't need to die to satisfy God's justice toward our sins ... He just needed to bleed."

Do any of you ever read the Bible?

You must not have.

Heb 9:19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
   Heb 9:20 Saying, This [is] the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.
   Heb 9:21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.
   Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
   Heb 9:23 [It was] therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
   Heb 9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, [which are] the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
   Heb 9:25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
   Heb 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
   Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
   Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

just get a Bible software, search for BLOOD and look at all the references in the New Testament.

I am not going to spam you, but wow, you honestly didn’t know about the Blood of Jesus Christ?

  Mt 26:27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave [it] to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
   Mt 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Mk 14:24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
   Rom 3:25 Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

   Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
   Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
   Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Eph 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

   Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

  Col 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
   Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son:
   Col 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, [even] the forgiveness of sins:

  Col 1:19 For it pleased [the Father] that in him should all fulness dwell;
   Col 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, [I say], whether [they be] things in earth, or things in heaven.

Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption [for us].
   Heb 9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
   Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Heb 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Heb 13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

Heb 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

1Pet 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

1Pet 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and gold, from your vain conversation [received] by tradition from your fathers;
   1Pet 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Rev 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, [who is] the faithful witness, [and] the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

  Rev 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

  Rev 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
   Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death

Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
   Rev 19:12 His eyes [were] as a flame of fire, and on his head [were] many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
   Rev 19:13 And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

I mean, either you never read the Bible, or you are as apostate as Macarthur.

Hey, you are the apostate. Sorry you and your family are going to hell. Actually, not sorry.

I see you couldn't name a single name of a teacher that you approve of. Of the probably over a million pastors in the world.

Instead of accusing me of ignoring you, all you needed to do is just ask again.

Politely would be nice, too.

just get a Bible software, search for DEATH and look at all the references in the New Testament.

My hope is that by doing the above exercise, you will see the danger of building doctrinal statements on word studies.

What are your credentials for judging whether MacArthur or anyone is an apostate? What seminary did you attend?

the Bible is my standard, and Bible believers dont need seminaries if your church has plenty of Bible studies and you actually read your Bible.

www.middletownbiblechurch.org is a great place to start, feel free to browse

I posted almost all the New Testament verses declaring the importance of Christ’s blood being shed on the Cross...and you rejected that.

Think about that.

So you reject the sacrificial death of Christ ... but believe that He only had to shed His blood?

Abraham. Isaac. Mt. Moriah.
The angel calls out at the last moment.
Isaac is spared. The ram in the thicket takes his place on the altar.
“In the mountain of The LORD it will be provided.”

FFW

YHVH. Jesus. Same mountain.
No angel calls out.
The Father’s hand is not stayed.
There is no ram in the thicket, here.
Jesus dies in our place.
“It is finished.”

Yes, the blood.
And, yes, his death.

The one is intrinsic to the other, and both are necessary to be reconciled to God. We must be cleansed of sin, and only the blood of sinless Jesus is sufficient. The sentence against us requires our death, and only the death of one who, himslef, did not need to be reconciled to God — Jesus, The Son of God — was enough.

Thanks for this thread. Apparently, MacArthur defied the court order and held indoor services as usual on Sunday. It’s now Tuesday. What news?

you are as apostate as Macarthur.

I'm not even close to being worthy of that company, not even in "apostasy".

The blood of our Living Lord Jesus Christ, never to be spilled again, is a very worthy and scriptural topic but His ongoing Lordship over the state and all it contains, is just as worthy and that was the magnificent topic of MacArthur's sermon.
