Anthony Fauci recommends taking your vitamins now that school has started and flu season is nearing.

Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, specifically suggested taking vitamin D and C supplements and said he takes them himself in an Instagram Live interview with the actress Jennifer Garner on Thursday.

"If you're deficient in vitamin D, that does have an impact on your susceptibility to infection. I would not mind recommending, and I do it myself, taking vitamin D supplements," he said. "The other vitamin that people take is vitamin C because it's a good

Mentioning this earlier might have saved lived, specially amongst our dark skinned and elderly citizens who are more likely to suffer from vit D deficiencies.
