I don’t blame Woodward so much as media in general. Woodward has tapes, and DjT indeed said it.
The issue is: Trump said the same thing in February. Rush has the tape. It’s probably when this portion of Woodward’s expose was recorded, or shortly after.

OK here goes.....in a little over 2 weeks we may have our first debate of the season. I was wondering what you think will happen? Biden will get demolished if he debates so do you think he will come done with Covid19 a couple days prior? Any other ideas that will get him a pass to remain in his basement. He displays a huge weakness controlling his temper and you just know that the Donald will light as many matches as possible.
BC Canada has no such fire troubles, which undercuts WA Gov. Inslee’s assertions. BC has about 25 small fires in the last few days and most are .2 or .5 HA, which I interpret as hectares equalling 2.5 acres. One is 800 hectares, so that’s a couple of thousand acres,—which is still pretty small— but is the only significant fire.
The rest are tiny. So. Gov....you’re full of shiite...but you are a D afterall.

Who are the “some”? And how on earth would they know what the President is doing about the upcoming debate(s)?

I have several friends that think the debate will never happen.
Others think that like Hillary a sort of hidden teleprompter will be installed. Or they will demand one for biden and if they dont give tit to him other demands will be made until our side says no and then hes sort of off the hook.
If for any reason Biden does not show up or looks bad in the debate,its curtains for even the drivebys carrying his water.
Truth is no one knows what will happen.It's likely that the dems have pulled out all the stops on voter fraud and will be more dependent on that than anything else.
But anyone who tells you they know what will happen is probably lying.
As far as other deep staters masquerading as Republicans that's always a possibility as well.
Is potus letting anyone off the hook?Not in a million years. So we wait and can be sure the SHTF after the elections.
I'd sure like to see the SHTF in October. It appears that the criminals are all out on bail, laughing at us.

Actually, peeing all the time could work out for us. They need to rig all the toilets there in the debate hall to capture and analysis the pee to find the cocktail of drugs they have him on.
Maybe get the results instantly and Trump could tweet them DURING the debate.
