“Fell asleep, probably.”

Happens too often. I am always very wary of semi’s. I keep a close eye on them and make it a point to plan for the worst as they approach or I approach them. I view all semi’s as impending disaster.

As a driver of a diesel pickup and heavy 5th wheel trailer, I view ALL drivers of four wheeled vehicle’s a pending disaster!

Same here. I refuse to drive next to them whenever possible and give them plenty of space when I am trailing them. I also stay in the right lane 99% of the time as most accidents occur with needless passing and lane changes.

Not a bad idea to view ALL vehicles as an impending disaster like when pulling up at a light and you just know that vehicle behind you is NOT slowing down, good idea to have a potential ‘escape route’ etc.
I always pull to another lane (if possible) when approaching a light on a busy highway if a ‘biggie’ behind me. Gives them more room to slow/down stop also.
