Continuing the struggle by other means both (questionably) fair, and (unquestionably) foul methods.

Just because the limitations (masks, social distancing, crowd sizes, possible curfews) may be lifted, this does not mean the riots, burning, looting and mayhem won’t be lifted as well. The police will still be either disbanded or defunded, there will be no arrests or prosecutions of any miscreants, or if there is, any bail will be rescinded and they may return to the street within no more than two hours after detainment, or if already imprisoned, released at once.

If Trump is re-elected, then the street combat shall become much more open. Should by some series of unfortunate “coincidences” occur, in that a winner in the Presidential election or a vast number of congressional elections cannot be determined, then the battleground shifts to courts and government offices, with probably barricades and even some high-level assassinations being attempted.

Situation may not be hopeless, but it is darned serious.

“If Trump is re-elected, then the street combat shall become much more open.”

Not sure I agree with this. The street combat is a monster that the left has released and is not near enough capable of reeling it in. And the monster has cloned all over the country and is still not out in the open. And Trump’s hands are tied until he has a reason to go in. If it is to protect federal property from anyone, he can do that...if it is to combat an insurrection against the US, he can do that...if it is to support the states with funds, he’s already done that...if it is to police crime, he can’t do that. And as long as the governors continue to say they are combating crime, game over for Trump. Thems the rules...he can’t change them. The tenth amendment was ratified in 1791.

I don’t feel that the initial riots were caused accidentally. Someone had to plan how to get them underway and where. It wasn’t until after that that they progressed in size and locations. And finding groups like antifa traveling to different states to assist is not the example, it is the practice. The head of the snake is under ground. And judging from what they are trying to accomplish, the November election, is it really antifa?
