Disregarding what drivel the Times puts out. Isn’t it normal for veterans to come to the aid of their country with the skills their country gave them? We all took an oath to protect and defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. I took my oath 44 years ago and still feel bound by it. I am older and less able to do the things I was trained to do but will serve were I can. There are a lot of vets younger than me who provide the backbone of a experienced and disciplined group. You have not heard for them but the time is coming l

I’m considering finding a militia locally. I might not be able to perform like the young ones, but I can pass out coffee and doughnuts.

Took my OATH 54 years ago; applies just as much today as the day I took it.
