The bomb he made went off prematurely and killed his then girlfriend and others. Ayers adopted a son of one of them and he is now the San Francisco attorney general who told the police not to arrest people who steal if they really needed the items... I guess like a new tv or jewelry... He had earlier been in Venezuela and helped Hugo Chavez destroy that country. Ayers would have killed more people then anyone until 9/11
