I can see why black athletes are scared of police. When one is a criminal, and a thug, and resists arrest, on rare occasions the thug gets killed. Therefore, it is scary when one hears about someone just like you getting killed by the police.
And NEVER a mention of the condition precedent in ALL of these incidents:

That one statistic alone should convince any reasonable person that this all is complete nonsense.

Statistics are consistently abused my all of the above. Reason number one: they are not educated. Reason two: most Americans are not educated. Reason three: people are easily swayed due to their ignorance and anyone that throws around numbers must be speaking the "truth." I won't even start discussing the difference between truth and facts. That's another entirely different matter.

Worth remembering...
A “system” is designed to perform a particular task regardless of the inputs, i.e., and in terms of police encounters, under a “system” the outcome will be the same whichever cop or suspect is involved.
Thereby “systemic” racism will yield the same outcome every time. Reality does not support this.
