Wasn’t Northwestern Un. Law School where SDS/Weathermen leader Bernadine Dohrn worked in a near-professorial position there?

Let’s see what a deep-cover FBI operative had to write about her.

Key FBI undercover operative Larry Grathwohl, who spent a lot of time inside the Weather Underground, wrote in his book “Bringing Down America”, that Dohrn “enjoys the privileges of being a professor of law at Northwestern University and a high-ranking officer in the American Bar Association” (p. iv of the Introduction to the 2013 edition).

She may not have been a full professor and the exposure of her employment at NW Un. put the kibosh on her becoming a full professor.

In a letter last month to David E. Van Zandt, the law school's dean, Mr. O'Shea called Ms. Dohrn an ''unrepentant terrorist'' and demanded that the university return his $1,000 contribution. . .Mr. Van Zandt, the law school's dean, is squarely in Ms. Dohrn's camp. . .Mr. Ayers is a professor of education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, which has received about 70 angry calls and letters, some from alumni. But so far no donors have threatened to withdraw support, said Mark Rosati, a university spokesman. Mr. Rosati said the school's position was that while many people might find Mr. Ayers's recent comments objectionable, he was within his First Amendment rights. . .For Stanley Fish, dean of the college of liberal arts and sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago, the question is whether Ms. Dohrn can do the job that Northwestern wants.: Northwestern Alumni to End Donations if Ex-Radical Stays (11/04/2001)

Bernardine Dohrn, founder and former director of the Children and Family Justice Center (CFJC), Bluhm Legal Clinic, Northwestern Law School, will retire from the Center and Law School on August 31, 2013. . .Thomas Geraghty and Julie Biehl. . .: Northwestern Alumni to End Donations if Ex-Radical Stays (11/04/2001)Bernardine Dohrn Retiring (from Norhtwestern Law School, but not from the work ahead) (posted by Bill Ayers, 01/24/2013)
