The question was expression. There is nothing in the Constitution about the term expression.
Black’s Law Dictionary defines it as being also known as freedom of speech. It includes free press. The right to say what one wants through any form of communication and media, with the only limitation being to cause another harm in character or reputation by lying or misleading words. But to prove that you have to prove it was intentional and was not through misinformation.
Freedom of expression can “be determined” in a lot of ways. If I flip someone off, is that not the same as telling them where? It is a broad theology that is being used way too many ways and being interpreted by the law which makes it impossible to prove. And until the first amendment is changed, expression is not there.
