I saw this yesterday in another post: “@TomFitton at @JudicialWatch explains why the Durham investigation is probably a sham: there are no signs of grand juries convening, there are no attorneys complaining about clients being questioned. There’s no proof that any real investigation is being conducted!”
Then how did Clinesmith get indicted? A Grand Jury is not publicized. It is kept “secret” as much as possible and very few people know who the subject/target is. There is a very good chance that a GJ is currently empaneled and doing there job in secret.

I never thought of it as 3D chess, or that Donald Trump was some sort of strategic super genius.
But I do think he is a very disciplined adversary and understands some common sense street-fighting tactics.
One of the most obvious street fighting tactics is:
“If you are going to shoot the king, you better kill him.“
It is a cliche, but it is common sense. When you destroy a hornets nest, you want to make sure you get every hornet. It sucks if you only kill half of them. It’s not 3D chess - it’s just common sense.
Trump’s Spygate enemies forgot that rule - they tried to “shoot the king” and he’s still standing. Advantage Trump.
I believe the explanation for why nothing has happened in four years is that Donald Trump has NOT forgotten that all important rule. He is not going to fire until he knows he’s got all the hornets.
I don’t think it is 3D chess - I just think he is a patient man and is waiting to get past this re-election, waiting for Republicans to retake the House and waiting to weed out some RINOs, waiting for it to feel like the right time to do whatever he is going to do.
Either that or he doesn’t really care about locking them up. Maybe he wants to destroy them politically, rather than legally.
Whatever it is, I am sure he is the one holding back - the idea that he wants his AGs to indict, but they refuse...that just doesn’t make sense to me. He is the President, he could order them to do it or find another AG who would.
It has to be him holding back - and probably with good reason.
I will stick to my prediction made in the spring of 2017 that NOBODY WILL BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE for the attempted coup d’etat.
Well it’s not fair to wait after the election to announce when you see the dirty stuff they are doing to Trump. Are they actually going to hold off on indictments in the Russia hoax so Adam Schiff can go forward with another phony Russia investigation before the election?

It makes me want to scream. Dems have whistle blowers, investigation hearings, attempt at impeachment and here it is 4 years later and stuck on Durham and do nothing investigations, hearings by our own party. Graham stabs us and the President in the back. I saw early on with Barr that this would be a sham. Now it’s near election and it will all be fruitless. No one in government to protect and fight for this President, no whistle blowers, no FBI, CIA, State Dept no one. Everyone knows there was a coup, there was treason and no one will be held accountable. Even the lawyer editing FISA, he will get a slap on hand.
FISA Judge allows FBI and FISA to continue after he gave them a tongue lashing for their illegal activity and then gives the a green light to continue. Insane.
Clinesmith was NOT indicted. He plead guilty via an “information.” It was a plea deal. Even though the deal is in, his criminal lawyer states that Clinesmith didn’t do what is being reported. Why state this? The facts will come out in court with the plea; but, all of this is not what it seems.
Yes, GJ are secret in that hardly anyone is present during the GJ - not press, not lawyers, not judges. Just prosecutors, witnesses and jurors - the indictment of a ham sandwich thing.
Regardless of this secrecy, little else is secret. Place, time, the witnesses, possibly even the testimony as defense lawyers know when witnesses are called and sharp reporters do as well and both will seek debriefing from cooperating witnesses. Remember Sid the snake Blumenthal coming out of the GJ and lying on the courthouse steps...The cameras were there...no secret. Believing his secret testimony wouldn’t come out...big mistake.
Does anybody know how many FBI agents there are? Could President Trump greatly reduce the FBI especially the top ones in the most corrupt cities and in DC.
There are around 15,000 SAs. I think most are actually accountants, computer geeks and lawyers dealing with white collar crime.
The FBI administration in DC needs to be dismantled completely.
