Generally I agree with your philosophy. But then I think about that no-talent, insipid actress Mamie Gummer, who gets acting gigs just because she’s Streep’s daughter. So tagging Streep with her entitled, violent, racist nephew seems OK to me.
From one “Opinionated Blowhard” to another, this story made me think Meryl would probably react like her nephew if somebody had the nerve to walk up to her and quote Katherine Hepburn’s remark watching Streep act: “Tick Tock, Tick Tock”. IMHO, Streep is of the most overrated actresses of all time. And who does her family think they are? The Kennedy’s?
