I think Federal law says that people need to cast their vote on or before election day. That would mean postmarked by Election Day. So, impossible to have results by election night. Even the IRS allows postmarked by April 15th.
The message they’re sending is we should prepare for massive election fraud; by Democrats.
Makes no sense to allow votes counted for an extended period beyond election night. It’s no big secret understanding what Democrats are doing in asking for this. The only late votes that need be counted are the ones coming in from military personnel that are stationed overseas. I think the Democrats know they are predominately Republican votes. Any improper voting or election tampering should carry a good stiff prison sentence.
I don’t like counting mail in ballots early. That just helps the democrats know how much they need to cheat at the ballot box.
there should be a better way to count mail in ballots that makes it more efficient/quicker without requiring people to read the vote early.

Polling booths close at 8pm in a lot of places, so you can still go to a post office if it’s open and get it mailed by 12pm? Or what if you’re in a different time zone or out of country?
I think reasonable delivery times should be considered and then the states should have a requirement for you to be able to check if your ballot has been received. So for that to happen it must be delivered early enough for the state to get the ballot process who sent the ballot (don’t tabulate the vote though...that waits until election night).

BS or not, it’s too late to change the law for this Election Day. They have to decide the interpretation....received by or postmarked by.

Who in the hell do these democrats think they are? I say when there is a landslide for Trump on Election Day we declare victory and walk away. They will NOT steal this election through the mail. Anything not postmarked by and counted by the election is too late. Dem officials will pay a steep price for such shenanigans.
It’s not too late. The democrats are currently changing the laws in their favor, so why can’t we?
I have never personally understood why.. when it says very clearly in the constitution what day the election is suppose to be on, that we allow voting on any other day.
It has to be voted on & that takes time.
