I’ve made jerky for years. I would wait until top round was on sale and sometimes got it for $2.99 a pound. Started with a basic soy sauce recipe and it was good. Then I started getting fancy adding other stuff. It really was never as good as the original basic recipe. So that’s what I do, stick to the basics.
