Many years ago Luby’s Lochwood location was the place to go for a nice Sunday lunch. I remember they had live music, an organist who would take your requests. I would hand him request slips for stuff like Beatles or the Stones and he would know and play them.
It was fun to watch the expressions of the faces of the older patrons as they were subjected to Something or Eleanor Rigby!

I got Luby’s takeout last night for dinner. Guess I won’t be doing that anymore. Loved the pies, fried fish and baked chicken. Liver & onions on occasion, not good for the gout though. This sucks!
