Absolutely. It’s not hard to step back and lose, when every loss give you a new vacation home or something similar.
He gets the mother of all consolation prizes. Plus living high on campaign donations for a couple of years before taking the payoff to sell his supporters out again.
You know darn well he wasn't staying in the No-Name-Motel and living on cheese doodles and instant de-caf during his campaign.
