With all the taxes and bribes required, it is still cheaper to go to the neighborhood drug dealer for the stuff. A little competition in the drug industry generally initiates a little pushback.

The neighborhood dealer also won’t make you place an order online ahead of time, wait for a confirmation, stand in line, wear a mask and observe social distancing guidelines while trying to get your product. Hell, half of them will come deliver it.

With all the competition and unbelievable variety of products in states where pot is legal, that is simply not true. Opening a weed shop here in Washington State is a license to print money - I've seen duffel bags full of $100 bills come out of the store I patronize, which is run by now wealthy conservatives.

Here in MA you can grow your own. One tent and a decent light—you can grow more than you would ever smoke. You can give it away, 1 Oz at a time. As a “gift.”

And the idiots still drive around with bales in their cars.

You cannot make it much easier than that.
